Hello Everyone!

I am hoping to continue as gliding treasurer for another year! I know gliding has got a bit more expensive recently; we have had a huge increase in expenditure. We ran a record number of flights in the first term, we have renovated our workshop, we have got a new caravan! Lots of the changes we have implemented we will only see returns on this year: better and cheaper insurance, new membership allocation makes sure more ppl who want annual memberships can get it, new annual budgeting layout means we will be eligible to apply for trip funding subsidies, and a new partnership with the Rose, fulham will slowly decrease the price and complexity of using them. Along with much more!

I was very much plunged into the deep end when I started, I'll be honest it takes a huge amount of work (often more time than my course) and nothing is explained anywhere. So for this year, I want to create training resources and streamline finances so its easier for the next treasurer.
