Danielle Kingsley

Hey everyone! I'm Danielle and I'm running for president of Gospel Choir 23/24.

From freshers fair in first year, I knew that ICGC was the one society that I had to engage with and I didn't waste time in doing so.

During my first term at Imperial, I was elected as secretary of ICGC and then went on to be vice president in my second year. Both of these positions have allowed me to shape the direction of a society which I value so highly, and being able to do so as president would not be something that I take lightly. I have also represented ICGC on widely renowned platforms such as Premier Gospel, where I was able to give a glimpse of my burden for this community.

My leadership roles in 6th form have equipped me with the skills required to thrive in what can be a challenging role. In this position, I will be dedicated to ensuring that Gospel Choir is enjoyable for everyone involved, and I will use my ability to collaborate with fellow committee members to establish a fun and worthwhile society.

Most importantly, I hope to continue to keep Christ at the centre of all of the society's activities just as we have established in the past year. Be it in the form of Worship nights or evangelism, I envision the society having an impact massively beyond the students who join!
