Sageya Piratheepan

I am applying for the role of MedTech treasurer after taking part in helping with the latest MedTech conference run by the committee and seeing the level of organisation and effort that was put into creating the event. Following my participation as a member of the subcommittee, I would like to see if I too can help create an event that inspires others to get involved in the field as this conference did so well. I also have an avid interest in the potential uses of technology in medicine and so, would like to explore this further and learn more with the society.

I am a team player and will work collaboratively with other members of the committee to achieve financial goals are met, and I am confident in my ability to effectively manage finances.

As treasurer I will make sure to use the resources of the committee well, to ensure that events organised can occur with the same high quality as I was able to see, as well as provide the option for any changes or future events that the society might decide to add.
