Wagwan mandem! After two incredibly enjoyable experiences working on the previous Mega Maalai, I am excited to express my interest in becoming one of the Presidents for the Imperial Tamil Society.

In my role as the Head of Acts, I have gained invaluable skills by acting as a figurehead through various responsibilities such as:

• - coordinating with choreographers,

• - organising run-through days and auditions,

• - leading interviews to decide MM choreographers

• - pioneering the first international Mega Maalai Act in 2023.

  All of these skills will aid me in my role as President.

  Looking ahead to MM30, my vision is to make it bigger and better than ever before.

  Currently, I would like to:

  1. Donate the Mega Maalai proceedings to a singular charity. We should build a strong relationship with this charity and be heavily involved in a project with an ethos that correlates with our values.

  2. Bring in unique marketing ideas to promote 30th year of Mega Maalai working with new, up and coming talents to target a wider range of audience.

  3. Bring in my own management style to Imperial Tamil Society and use the platform and network I already have to further uplift Mega Maalai.

  It’s been an honour working with such inspiring people this year and I’d love the opportunity to co-lead Imperial Tamil Society into a new age.
