Rhea Sheth

Hello!! I am Rhea, a second-year medic, thrilled for the opportunity to run for social secretary next year! Why would I like to be social secretary? I aim make a difference to the ICSM community and make events that people (especially freshers) remember for years to come! I would like to get to know ICSM better and hopefully leave a positive impact.

Being the second team captain of ICSM Water Polo. I have learned numerous transferable skills from tackling eActivities to organising and communicating with different people/universities. Inclusivity is key to bringing people into the club, similar to how the SU welcome freshers. I value teamwork and support within a committee, especially for event organisation.

My current committee position allowed me to engage with the wider ICSM community. Inspired by older SU committee members, I'm eager for this new challenge, aiming to learn and develop personally alongside making a difference.

My vision is to help organise a successful and enjoyable freshers fortnight. This time can be stressful for freshers. I remember the feeling and how I appreciated the welcoming and friendly faces on SU. The conversations at these events are what brought me into water polo and got me excited to be part of ICSM. Having such a diverse community at ICSM, it is important that we tend to the range of interests and backgrounds of the students. I aim to listen to fellow students and incorporate their feedback.
