Camille Boutrolle

Hello hello! This is Camille - your current Union President and here I am going for Round 2. A bit about me: I joined Imperial in 2019 and struggled through aero for four years, during which I sat on the committees of the Netball, Women's Rugby, and Snowsports societies. I ran for President this time last year because I had some big ideas, and I'm proud to say most are on track. For example, I promised more microwaves - and now even Reynolds has some! I'm running again because I've had a really fulfilling year so far, and I have more I think I can do for students here at Imperial.

Money for postgraduates

• Lobby the UKRI for a £3000 increase to the yearly London allowance given to PhD students (currently £2000 per annum and has not been increased in past 30 years)

Choice for undergraduates (admittedly, this was a manifesto point last year which I have yet to complete - big change takes big time!)

• Create more opportunities for Inter-Departmental Exchange modules across Faculties
• Cross-register with LSE...ambitious but would be cool!

Spaces for all

• More green! I spent much of this year green-ifying the College's investment portfolio, now time for the campuses to follow suit. More biodiversity on all our campuses.
• More space - Sherfield Level 3 was a good start, but we can do more for interview, meeting and group study space.
