Jason Li

Hi everyone, I am Jason Li.

As many of you may already know, I have dedicated my undergraduate life to assisting my peers, having served as the academic representative for two consecutive years. This experience has been incredibly meaningful to me, as I engage with you, listen to your needs, and push the department for them.

I am happy that I have made a series of positive contributions to the department, including additional drop-in sessions for EPR, resolving misordered lecturers, and pushing for faster information-sheet delivery.

As I am about to become a 3rd-year senior, I see this opportunity to become the departmental academic representative as a chance to reach out to more people, so that whenever anyone needs help, they know there is a man called Jason Li who is always there to talk to. And if it is the first time I meet you, I will share with you my notes 😁.

The upcoming year is a new beginning for all of us, and I will be standing at the frontier and solving whatever problems that stand in our way. I envision striving for the benefit of each chemistry student. This includes pushing for

1. more UROP opportunities,
2. better teaching styles,
3. fair lab report feedback, etc.
