Nazifa Islam

Hi guys!!

I'm Nazifa, a second-year biochemist running to be your academic representative :)

I have already had the pleasure of meeting many of you in my roles as the current Department Representative for Horizons or as the Academic Events Officer for the Biochemistry Society. These roles have given me an insight into what it takes to represent the student body, collate feedback and effectively communicate issues to staff in meetings throughout the year. I have enjoyed supporting students and improving different courses in all my roles at Imperial and hope to continue to play an active role in the biochemistry community. I am committed to being approachable and responsive, dedicated to assisting each of you in resolving any challenges you may face throughout the year. You can rely on me to tirelessly strive to improve the course and advocate for change!
