Connor Newall-Gray

Hello there! My name is Connor and I'm excited to be running for the role of RSMU VPCS. Over the past year, I've been fortunate enough to be part of the RSMU committee. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of how the union operates, and I'm confident that my experience makes me the perfect candidate for this position.

I believe that the most important thing for a VPCS is to simply get the job done. I've been the RSM football president and have worked closely with the GeolSoc president this year so I understand the needs and wants of the sports clubs and Dep Socs. With this knowledge, I am committed to working with them to ensure their voices are heard and issues get resolved swiftly and directly.

I have experience working with all the RSM sports clubs, having organised the largest joint sports social as RSM football president. One of the main responsibilities of the VPCS role is organising the Bottle Match, which I'm committed to doing. I also have experience writing budgets for two societies this year, which makes me suitable for assisting clubs and societies with their budget.

Having founded a new society, IC Ceilidh, I'm well-versed in dealing with the union. I'm dedicated to supporting all sports clubs and Dep Socs when they face issues relating to ICU or IA.

So, what's my main message? It's simple - it's all about the RSM!
