Stephanie Cui

Greetings to my fellow comrades, my name is Stephanie Cui and I am a chemical engineer going into my second year in 2024-25. I am running for the position of Sponsorship Officer and I am excited about the prospect of establishing lasting partnerships between industry leaders and the CGCU.

As a clueless first year, I had no idea what I want to do when I finish my studies. I know that I am not alone in feeling so and many of us harbour similar uncertainties. Over the course of the year, I have developed a keen interest in exploring professional opportunities in a range of industries and sectors, and I truly value the array of career events organised by Imperial in collaoration with industry leaders. These events offer us a glimpse into the multitude of academic and professional paths that are available to us engineers, all of which warrant exploration.

As a sponsonship officer, I will diversify our sponsorship portfolio, organise innovation challenges and competitions, establish mentorship programs in collaboration with our sponsors, and above all, listen and respond to what you need as we together navigate our Imperial journeys.
