Hey, I’m Tim and I’m running to be your Welfare Vice Chair for Campaigns.
Even though I appear happy and smiley, the stress of life and university catches up to me often, as it does with everyone else. Through my two years of medical school so far, I have been through both the highs and lows that define the experience of med school. I believe welfare is essential to help us get through the marathon that is medical school.
I have had experience running campaigns, and promotions through being the Visual Director for ICSM Fashion Show – helping to organise it and run its social media. Through this, I had to be very well organised and creative, coming up with new ideas for promotion.
I am outgoing and friendly, which helps me talk to the large range of people necessary to understand the needs of the medical school. I believe I am a friendly face that people are not afraid to talk to, and I enjoy listening and taking people’s opinions on board. However, I am not afraid to be honest and truly myself and I believe this will help me negotiate with faculty to give you the best experience at medical school.
