Hi, I am David, a second-year mathematician. As the current External Vice for the Imperial College Mathematics Society (MathSoc), I am responsible for building a productive relationship with our 10+ industry-leading sponsors through prompt and professional communication. Moreover, I was handling the negotiation and administrative process for contracts and organising career events such as the MathSoc Career Fair.

With my experience working in sponsorship relations in MathSoc, I am now ready to bring my skillset to a larger platform and serve the wider RCSU community. If elected, I will strive to

• Forge strong and productive connections with sponsors by providing prompt and effective responses to their inquiries. By doing so, we will establish an impression of professionalism for RCSU, which is beneficial in both the short run and the long run.
• Reach out to potential new sponsors with bespoke brochures and meetings. I have managed to attract 2 new sponsors this year for MathSoc and I hope to do the same for RCSU, bringing in additional capital for operations and events.
• Organise more career events to support RCSU members' transition into the workspace, such as career fairs and company workshops, in collaboration with the RCUS committee.

I believe that my experience at MathSoc, passion for the role, and excellent communication skills make me the ideal candidate for sponsorship officer at RCSU. I promise to work hard, be responsive, and deliver great results for our society.
