We’ve been told: an apple a day keeps the doctor away. But problems in uni life aren't solved so easily; and many of us will be faced with welfare issues during our time in the BMB course.
As the Welfare Vice Chair for the BMB course, I aspire to propose solutions that have a truly positive impact on your wellbeing; an impact that is, in the very least, better than that apple.
When I become Welfare Vice Chair, I will:
- Address key welfare issues within the course by raising greater awareness.
- Support your wellbeing by signposting you to relevant welfare services.
It is my highest priority to hear and project your invaluable ideas and concerns about the BMB course. I will coordinate, collaborate and communicate with each year group's Welfare Representatives to ensure that your opinions are understood by the faculty and the ICSMSU. With me taking on this central role in the liasion with the faculty, you can be confident that your voice will be heard.
I passionately believe that your healthy wellbeing is essential for your daily endeavours in studies, extracurriculars, work and other responsibilities. There are many welfare services that you may not know where to start looking for help or to voice your concerns. That’s why I will be an open-minded and approachable first point-of-contact for you.
I will represent you with responsibility, I will support you with passion, and I assure you I will be the Welfare Vice Chair that I promise to be!
