Haozhuang Dai
Hello, fellow math enthusiasts! My name is Haozhuang Dai, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Vice President of Mathematics. With a deep passion for mathematics and a strong commitment to our community, I aim to foster an environment where everyone can explore the beauty of mathematics, enhance their skills, and apply mathematical thinking in innovative ways.
To create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive mathematical community that not only excels academically but also appreciates the real-world applications and beauty of mathematics. I envision a community where every member feels valued, motivated, and equipped to achieve their full potential in mathematics and beyond.
Aside from the clichés, my unique explorations outside of mathematics have made me more sensitive to indisciplinary possiblities. In my high school RDFZ, I was the president of the Public Diplomacy Association and captain of the debate team. Recently I have just become the new captain of the IC Chinese Debate Team. I have also organised collaborative populism forums in over 20 secondary schools in Beijing. I see the importance of mathematics in the study of sociology and economics, and I hope to bring the appeal of these liberal arts disciplines, which we maths enthusiasts may slightly despise, to you. Please vote for me!
