Shritik Satnaliwala
Hey everyone, my name is Shritik and I'm running for BioSoc President.
I am a strong believer in the idea that a good university experience goes beyond the course and classroom. Everyone gets overwhelmed by the pressures of the course and misses out on the activities that bring them true joy. I experienced this myself in the last term, and after proactively taking time for my hobbies this term, I hope to ensure that each one of you can do so with ease. I have a multitude of ideas for unwinding including tie-ups with other societies such as DramSoc, which are sure to be unlike any other event you have attended at Imperial. These will be backed with classic, popular events such as the formal dinner and workshops.
While I am a fresher and haven't been a part of the BioSoc committee, I would like to assure you that I believe in my ability to serve well and be the ideal candidate for President. I have experience in leading society as I was the Head of Genetics in the BioChemistry Society at my high school and was responsible for organising practicals and lectures related to the field of genetics. This position allowed me to polish the necessary skills for coordinating events and ensuring that members are kept interested in society.
I hope you see me as the right fit for this role and I look forward to serving as your President.
