Pi Rong Koh
Hello, Pi Rong here, and I'm running to be your next ICSS President!
Over the past year as a fresher, I have benefited immensely from the community and activities which ICSS has to offer. From Pre-Departure Talk to Ski Trip and Major Event, ICSS has given me a close-knit group of friends whom I can trust and rely on. The role of ICSS in creating a safe and vibrant community for Singaporeans studying abroad is deeply important to me and is also something which I wish to advance.
My vision of ICSS for this coming year centers around supporting 3 F's (no, not the grade) - Supporting our Freshers, our Family, and our Finances. If elected as President, I hope to organise more bonding activities for freshmen in the first 2 weeks, arrange tie-ups with other clubs and societies (such as theatre nights and hiking trips!) to augment our student life, and shore up our finances to ensure that SingSoc can continue operating sustainably for many years to come.
Living in London can be quite the experience - the pace of life is different and some of us may require a longer time to adapt. To that end, I hope that ICSS can serve as a constant in our lives which we can depend upon. As such, I am committed to ensuring the smooth running of all our current events for the upcoming year, and maybe organise even more!
Thank you!
