Tvishi Agarwal
Hi everyone!
My name is Tvishi and I am a second year Aeronautics student! I have been playing badminton since I was 12, and played for Surrey County for 7 years, as well as being the captain at my high school for 2 years. As the current Women's captain at Imperial, I've deeply immersed myself in the world of badminton, dedicating myself to not just playing but also enhancing the IC Badminton community we all cherish.
Over the last year, I've been privileged to work closely with our President, Mihir, learning the intricacies of leading our society. This experience has prepared me to step into the role of President, where I aim to continue our legacy of accessibility, fun, and community spirit in badminton. My dedication has been evident through leading the Women's first team, facilitating numerous coaching sessions, and organizing social events that have strengthened our bonds and love for the game.
My vision for the next academic year is ambitious yet achievable. I plan to ensure our sessions run seamlessly with the right equipment and minimal disruptions, expand our coaching sessions to foster greater interaction between team and social members, and maximize engagement across our diverse membership. By listening to your feedback and working with all the comittee members, together, we can make the IC Badminton Society more inclusive, competitive, and enjoyable for everyone.
I hope to be your President next year and I look forward to the opportunity to lead our society to be the best!
