I am excited to express my candidacy for the role of Treasurer, I feel the best part of DocSoc are the exciting, large scale events that are both fun and free. I want to do my best to help you experience even more of these and so will aim to ensure that money is best allocated to entertaining, frequent and inclusive events year round.

I will achieve this by keeping track of the money available and setting aside money for your favorite events. Additionally, I'll make it clear how much money is available to be spent each week, and highlight any leftovers to the event organisers to ensure that the money given to improve your experience isn't wasted.

I will also be focusing on making it extremely easy for other leading members to get money for events, see how much money is available for new events, and make quicker to setup well funded events by liasing with the union over money on their behalfs. This will have the added benefit of freeing up these people's time to allow them to focus on creating great experiences and come up with refreshing event ideas.

Just remember, a vote for Eli is a vote for a treasurer who cares about your DocSoc journey.
