Yuriko Masui
Civil Engineering: Treasurer
To my Civsoc family,
My name is Yuriko and I am running for the role of treasurer. Throughout my time here, l've actively participated in various Civsoc events. I am passionate about creating more opportunities to allow members to explore interest in this field further. Here are 3 reasons why I believe I will be a perfect fit for this role.
- Financing skills
As a founder of a charity walk organisation, We Care Fukushima, I am experienced in managing money and putting them to good use. I initiated and organised to raise over £4000 in the past 7 years, ensuring it has been donated to the right foundation by visiting offices myself and personally participating in the recovery works post the nuclear power plant explosion in Fukushima. - Teamwork and leadership
With an experience as a prefect, I possess great leadership skills. I am not afraid to speak up, voice opinions and negotiate for the smooth running of the society. I will ensure to bring in new initiatives by working closely with the rest of the committee. - Positivity
Lastly, I have always been full of enthusiasm and energy. Whether it be during a meeting, an event or just passing by in Skem, I promise to always bring positivity to better everyone's experiences at Imperial.
If elected, I promise to showcase these qualities and ensure that the society will be financially on track.
Thank you for reading my manifesto and I hope to be able to give back to the CivSoc community!!
