Zong Junn Lee

Hello Fellwanderers! I'm Zong Junn, a 3rd-year Aeronautical Engineering student, hiking enthusiast, and also your current outgoing Co-President. After a short but wonderful tenure in the committee, I'm excited to bring my leadership and financial acumen to the role of Treasurer, ensuring the continuity of Fellwanderers’ exceptional experiences.

In this new capacity, my focus will be on fortifying the financial foundations of our society. I will draw on my experience as the previous External Liaison Officer of the Malaysian Society - one of the largest and most active CSPs in the Union. I successfully navigated complex contracts and elevated sponsorship funding by an impressive 270% from 9 corporate sponsors during my tenure. These skills will be invaluable in securing financial support for Fellwanderers, hence enabling us to organise more exhilarating hikes with even more subsidies.

As Treasurer, I am definitely committed to fiscal responsibility and transparency. I'll leverage on my expertise to optimise budget allocation and ensure that every pound contributes to enhancing our hiking adventures. Moreover, my proven track record in negotiation and collaboration with the Union positions me well to manage financial affairs effectively and secure beneficial partnerships for our society.

All in all, I'm passionate about giving back to the community that has enriched my time since stepping foot in the UK. I am eager to contribute to Fellwanderers in this new capacity and look forward to your support on this exciting journey!
