Cosmo So

Hi everyone! I am Cosmo, a first-year student excited to be running for Secretary of CivSoc. I am running for this role to ensure a smooth operating year, to create a fun and welcoming environment and to connect the bridge between the student body and the committee.

If I were to be elected:

-I will manage correspondence, take meeting minutes, update club agendas, and to be responsible for the committee database to ensure a streamlined process to maximize working efficiency.

-I will cooperate with other members of the committee to arrange career talks, workshops, networking events, and other events that can nurture members’ education and interest in civil engineering.

-I will not turn a blind eye to maintaining effective communication between the committee and our members by sending weekly emails to promote club events and to send out feedback forms for members to give constructive criticism on how we can further perfect our society.

I firmly believe that through committing and achieveing goals listed above, we can uplift the overall reputation and atmosphere of CivSoc, helping it flourish into an unforgettable place for everyone.
