Camille Mercier-Peart

Hey guys, I’m Camille (the one on the right) aka the OG fresher. I’ve been given this name because I’ve shown up to socials since freshers week (unlike the other freshers running for social sec). I feel that this is the most accurate position for me to run for as I would say I am charismatic, fun and hardworking. As social sec, I want to keep growing our amazing, warm and welcoming society. I chose to join IC netball because all the girls are so lovely and they made me feel like I belong somewhere and I want to give that feeling to all the new members next year as well as the existing ones.

Social sec traits including my justifications for having them:

Party animal- I am a slug warrior and will down my pint faster than you

Dedicated- My teammates can you tell you, I’ve been sick since freshers and I’ve still shown up without fail

Organisation- I have to be organised to go from lectures, to matches, to pres, to slug, to lectures, to netball training without going home in between.

For next year, I will bring all the fire and energy required to be social sec. Our weekly socials will be throughly planned out with stupid costumes, fun activities and mixing with other societies.
