I would love to be the President of ICOGS!

I am confident in my ability to lead the society with my experiences and skills cultivated from various opportunities. The core of a successful leader lies in three essential skills: leadership, organisation and problem-solving.

Leadership:

I am the ICSM Ladies 1s Hockey Captain (performance squad); I have honed my leadership skills by creating a collaborative environment, motivating my team to excel. From running training sessions to guiding my squad on game days, I understand the importance of adaptability and openness to feedback in leadership.

Organisation:

My former role as Social Secretary for the ICSM Music Society underscores my organisation. Planning events for one of the largest societies requires prompt planning, effective communication, and strategic thinking to ensure the success of our endeavours.

Problem-solving:

As the former Fixtures Secretary of ICSM ladies' hockey, I navigated last-minute cancellations and logistical challenges to ensure smooth operations. My ability to think on my feet and find solutions under pressure has prepared me well for the presidential demands.

Looking ahead, I am committed to enhancing our members' experience by establishing events that guide students through the competitive landscape of this speciality pathway and elective opportunities.

My passion for O&G is evidenced by my pursuit of the reproduction BSc and my aspiration to become an Obstetrician. As the current Publicity Officer for ICOGS, I’m well-versed in our society's calendar and with your support, I am dedicated to its continued success.
