Douglas Bowering

Hey my name's Douglas and I love playing badminton and have thoroughly enjoyed the social sessions occurring throughout my time here, such as the Fulham Palace Run which has been one of the highlights of my time at Imperial! I would love to be able to contribute ideas and organise events myself to create a fantastic experience others will remember for years to come, as well as to get some experience in what it is like to be involved with and help run a society at Imperial!

Now why should you vote for me?

• I love going out, especially clubbing and food places, and would love to get as many people as possible involved in ICSM badminton. I believe going out to these events is a great way to make friends and just bond over something we love... badminton! I've made quite a few memories at ICSM badminton events and would love to help others make some core memories themselves!
• I will aim to organise regular social events throughout my tenure to bring our tight-knit community closer together and help freshers and current members meet as many people as possible sharing our love for badminton.
• Receive feedback and make adjustments so everyone is enjoying themselves and make sure everyone is up to date on when and where social events are happening.
