Sudharshan Palaniappa
Hi everyone! My name is Sudharshan and I’m a second-year medical student who is excited to be running for the position of Secretary in the Imperial College Friends of MSF.
I have been inspired by the work undertaken by MSF in different parts of the world and believe in their cause of providing medical assistance to underprivileged populations. I first became more involved in Imperial FoMSF last year when I hoped to assist in raising awareness about their efforts and contribute to them in a meaningful way. This journey culminated in me being elected to the position of Vice-President (Events) and planning most of the society’s activities in this academic year.
In the upcoming year, I wish to use my skills and experiences differently to contribute as the Secretary of FoMSF instead. I would be involved in aspects like organising committee meetings, managing internal communications, and facilitating the running of events, so my existing knowledge of how the society runs would be useful. In addition, my time management skills and strong work ethic would enable me to function well in this role. I would also be able to advise more junior members of the committee on running events.
Beyond these experiences and skills, I am most excited to bring my passion and commitment to this position, ensuring that I can overcome any challenges and work for the society to the best of my abilities.
Please consider casting your vote for me! Thank you!
