This year in Muay Thai I have regularly attended sessions and fought at this year's first interclub 'Kings of the Ring 10' at KCL. As this year's social secretary, I have manned the club's social media account, posting for the first time since 2019. This year we have reached 200 society members, compared to an average of 64 members from the previous 2 years, partly due our work on social media, and our work at the freshers' stall at the start of the year.

Later this year I plan to attend more interclubs, both as a fighter and a cornerman. Socially, we are currently arranging a football match against the Krav Maga society, and are liasing with other martial arts societies to organise a collective night out. I'd also like to continue the tradition of going for a victory pint at spoons after an interclub!

As men's captain, I will provide weekly emails to highlight details for training sessions, any Muay Thai / UFC events happening that week as well as recommended training on days with no scheduled muay thai classes. I will represent the club at every interclub / event and be the first port of call for communication regarding interclub information. We also intend to run grappling sessions through our society if the union does not recognise the new 'Grappling Society' next year.
