Those of you who know me in the debate society know that I place a great emphasis on development and training for competitions, however I think it's also important for us to have a good time as a community so that we can get better engagement and people can have fun. As social officer I want to focus on the following:

1. At least one social every two weeks
2. Making socials accesible and affordable
3. Getting feedback and ensuring that we meet your demands for what you'd like to see in a social
4. Making sure that Imperial-run competitions have exciting socials that allow us to make friends with debaters from other societies

In addition, in my capacity as a committee member I want to continue to push for high-quality training so that people can develop their thinking and speaking skills.
