Hi, I’m Richard - currently a 2nd year student in the department studying Earth and Planetary Science with a focus on Geophysics!

My goals as President:

• Work closely with the tour officers to run our annual international tour!
• Continue our traditional social & career events and host potential new events such as inter-university geosciences conference
• Introduce more crossover events with relevant societies from other universities
• Work closely with the sponsorship officer to increase the amount of industrial partners with the society
• Prepare a handover document for the following tenure’s committee members

My relevant past experiences at Imperial:

• Sponsorship Officer of the Geophysics Society - maintained current and established new partnerships; onboarded two new gold sponsors this year.
• Events Officer of the Malaysian Society - organised 20+ events throughout my tenure with 7 new events ideas; has abundant experiences of the paperwork requirements to host an event.
