Hi, everyone! I'm Chloe, a second-year biological sciences student. I'm running for the Vice President of the WSET because I feel compelled to be part of this tight-knit community of like-minded young women with incredible potential. If I had the honour to be the vice president of WSET, there would be four proposals that I would strive to launch in the next school year, including job preparation, networking opportunities, professional experience opportunities and academic competitions. More specifically, I would like to bring more awareness of what it feels like to be a woman in SET to these activities, shaping a more proactive and determined generation of us in the face of inequalities and obstacles. The detailed proposals are included in the attached campaign if you are interested! My experience includes being the club head of the Yearbook Committee, the Ambassador Club, and the Art Committee in high school. Moreover, I was also a member of the social activities committee of the student union, where I successfully organised the first drive-thru Halloween activity during the pandemic. I'm confident that my teamwork, communication, leadership, event organisation, and innovation skills will help me have a wonderful trip with you guys at WSET.
