Hi, I am David, a second-year mathematician. As the current External Vice for the Imperial College Mathematics Society (MathSoc), I am responsible for building a productive relationship with our 10+ industry-leading sponsors through prompt and professional communication. Moreover, I was handling the negotiation and administrative process for contracts and organising career events such as the MathSoc Career Fair.

I have enjoyed my work thoroughly as the External Vice and would love to continue my responsibility in the vibrant society. If elected, I will strive to

• Forge strong and productive connections with sponsors by providing prompt and effective responses to their inquiries. By doing so, we will establish an impression of professionalism for MathSoc, which is beneficial in both the short run and the long run.
• Reach out to potential new sponsors with bespoke brochures and meetings. I have managed to attract 2 new sponsors this year for MathSoc, bringing in additional capital for operations and events.
• Organise more career events to support MathSoc members' transition into the workspace, such as career fairs and company workshops, in collaboration with the MathSoc committee.

I believe that my previous experience, passion for the role, and excellent communication skills make me the ideal candidate for sponsorship officer at MathSoc. I promise to work hard, be responsive, and deliver great results for our society.
