Olivia B-G
Hi, I am Olivia, many of you will not be familiar with who I am so here is a bit about me:
I am a second-year biochemistry student, a Mind Charity Volunteer, a young carer ambassador, and of course an aspiring consultant.
I understand how scary the idea of doing case studies in interviews or even preparing for a real job offer after graduation, however through many interviews the idea of a case study is almost second nature to me. Once broken down into what employers are looking for from you, the concept of a case study is less daunting for example just demonstrate structured and analytical thinking.
My aims are
- run sessions on how to structure general case study questions
- hold small group discussions to work through case study questions, without the pressure of presenting as part of the ICG typical term-long case studies
- work alongside the corporate relations Vice President to get sponsors to present what they look for in candidate answers
With me in charge of Case studies hopefully, you can begin to look at them as fun analytical tasks instead of the dreaded stage of interviews how many of you see them.
