Chae Hwang

Hey ICLS, my name is Chae. I’m a second year Medical Biosciences student and I’m running to be your Events Coordinator! As a dedicated, passionate and ambitious individual seriously considering a career in law, I am eager to contribute my assets and enthusiasm to create a vibrant, engaging and inclusive environment that fosters growth within our community.

Attending many of ICLS’ events this year I have a good idea of what events you members want to see – more open days and exclusive office visits, sessions with recruiters, workshops to design your CV for success and learn how to nail those cover letters and assessment centres. In my role, I will ensure to build stronger relationships with Magic and Silver Circle firms so they know how much talent and potential we have at Imperial. And I haven't forgotten, more social laid-back events like movie nights with free food!

I’m the right person for the job. Having worked as the President and committee member of various career-related and social societies at Imperial, academic representative of my cohort for two consecutive years, I'm confident in handling and coordinating large-scale events involving stakeholders, guests and professionals in diverse fields. BUT, as important as my ideas for the upcoming year are, I’d love to integrate more transparent feedback channels because your opinions matter to me and everything we organize at ICLS should be catered to you.
