Hey BMB, I'm Chae. It’s no doubt you felt the same way I did the past 1-2 years with the lack of events. I’m here to change that!

With me as your BMB Vice President, you can look forward to more events focused around career development and opportunities. I want to bring you at least one big conference this year where you could network with alumni and experts in both academia and industry to potentially secure an internship at that dream pharmaceutical company, in healthcare consulting or if you’re headed into a Master’s or PhD, explore your options and get advice on whether it’s the right choice for you!

I want to bring you more socials within your year groups: games/movie-nights, picnic, study sessions with free snacks and end of year formal.

Why me? Having actively pursued placements and research in the biomedical field both within Imperial and externally, there's no one better-suited to make accessible all the resources and knowledge you need to succeed. Two years as academic rep of BMB means I know how the ICSMSU works, I’ve mastered effective communication with Staff from BMB year 1, 2 and 3, the head of years, the FEO and module leads with whom I’ve developed positive relationships with over the past two years, so I’m confident I can deliver the best for you.

As your vice president, I promise to collaborate with the rest of BMBSoc to serve you with my passion for BMB, let's make this an unforgettable year!
