Sreenithi Bhuvaneshwaran

Hi my name is Sreenithi, I’m a 2nd year medical student and I would love to get involved in Neuroscience society as publicity officer this year!

Having attended the annual MOTM conference and taken part in small group workshops Neuroscience has organised outside of this, I’ve learnt a lot about the work that goes into promoting these events, and my experience volunteering in Nutritank’s N4Y classes and ICSM Vision’s MMA Day has given me more insight into the role I will take.

As Neuroscience’s publicity officer I plan to maximise the society’s reach by promoting events well on social media and sharing behind the scenes that reach both students and professionals. I want to make our online presence more interactive with polls, challenges and Q&A to increase engagement within the society.

I am interested in collaborating on joint events with other societies that focus on different areas of neuroscience to attract students studying a variety of courses. I also plan to create more interest and enthusiasm earlier on in the year by making the stall at fresher’s fair more interactive and appealing to new students.
