Heidi Reynolds

Hello, my name is Heidi and I'm excited to be applying for this role!

Having nearly completed my BSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health, I understand the importance of research and auditing in this field, and the difference it can make to our scientific understanding. The brain is a highly complex structure and the conditions associated with it are, in part, a mystery and I would love the opportunity to acquire other students the chance to be at the forefront of solving these mysteries!

Over the past year, I have developed essential skills in research that have enabled me to become familiar with the process of submitting and writing scientific papers. Through this, I have also learnt about current research being conducted and have made connections with clinicians and lecturers who have taught this.

To this role, I will bring enthusiasm and persistence in reaching out and contacting the best people to help in acquiring these opportunities. As a confident communicator I am well versed in writing emails and can easily navigate social media platforms, such as Linkedin and Instagram. I have a keen interest in collaborating with other like-minded individuals who wish to be involved in new projects and can be flexible with my time to ensure I get the work done.

I know the value of students being involved in research, and believe that I am the right person to help achieve this goal.
