Moyin Sina-Atanda
My name is Moyin Sina-Atanda, and I would like to be your Musical Director next year. Now, I’m not going to list reasons why I believe I’m competent. However, what I will say is that I’m committed to learning and by the end of it, becoming a leader that not only you all but that Christ will be proud of.
My experience as assistant Musical Director this year has really brought to light the gravity of 2 Corinthians 12:9.
“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
Serving you all as Musical Director will mean relying on Christ’s strength, as opposed to my own. I believe that by doing that, the joy that comes with creating the right harmonies and creating impactful musical arrangements, will be in every rehearsal and evidenced in every showcase. I also believe that it will make being a part of gospel choir an enjoyable part of our university experience.
