Issac Tse
As a second-year biotechnology student, I am deeply enthusiastic about merging biotechnology with consulting. I view training as a crucial component in equipping students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for future participation in ICG projects.
Drawing from my experiences as an associate at ICG and an engagement manager at CCN, I have acquired invaluable insights into the essential aspects of consultancy. My tenure as an associate at ICG exposed me to both primary and secondary research methodologies, providing me with a comprehensive understanding to guide and mentor students in their future roles. Furthermore, I developed expertise in transforming qualitative data into quantitative insights, enhancing my ability to impart critical thinking and organizational processes essential for success in consultancy.
In my role as an engagement manager, I gained hands-on experience in organizing and coordinating teams effectively, while also gaining insights into client requirements from their perspective. This dual perspective has enriched my understanding of consultancy dynamics, enabling me to offer holistic feedback to students.
If elected, I am committed to not only sharing my technical expertise and knowledge about consulting but also providing guidance on soft skills essential for a smoother consulting process. I aim to ensure that students have the best possible experience as consultants at ICG, empowering them to excel in their future endeavors.
