Marco Chan

PHEM has always been a specialty I am interested in, the adrenaline, excitement and the reward you feel after every patient you save is not something you get in another career. My name is Marco currently a second year medical student who is passionate in PHEM, I wish to contribute to the PHEM community as a communications officer by offering the following 3Cs:

1. Continuity of Care - As your communication officer, I would make sure to always be contactable for any queries members might have with regards to PHEM and what we do. This communication channel will always be open not only to members but potential members, the faculty and also external speakers. I will also actively communicate and scout opportunities such as talks, workshops or visits to allow our members to engage with a variety of PHEM related activities throughout the year.
2. Communications - PHEM does not have an instagram page yet. I wish to establish a social media platform such as instagram to reach a larger variety of student body allowing more people know about who we are and what we do!
3. Connections - As the current social secretary of ICSM badminton and squash I have connections to other committee members and speakers from other society allowing PHEM to grow bigger and get incorporated into larger flagship events.
