Lizzie Sparling

This society has been one of my favourite parts of Imperial- the energy, the support, and the endless opportunities to learn from each other are what make it truly special. I would be thrilled to be able to give back to this awesome group of women, and I think I would make a great Secretary of this society.

Having spent the vast majority of this year applying for internships and attending interviews, I am confident at engaging with a wide range of employers… but more importantly its something I really enjoy and believe I do quite a good job at! As Secretary, I'll bring this enthusiasm and adept communication skills to ensure our society remains a hub of activity and collaboration.

Joining the executive committee, I look forward to coordinating with the team, making sure this society is the best it can be for us all. I am a second year maths student and an ardent advocate for women's empowerment. Having founded (and subsequently lead) my college’s Feminist Society, I am well prepared to fulfil the responsibilities of this role, and it would mean the world to have the opportunity to do so!
