Hi everyone, I'm hafsa and I'm currently in 4th year med!

This year I intercalated in Biomedical Engineering, which has opened me up to the world of health tech. Taking modules on the science behind how common medical devices work, as well as building a medical device for my year-long project has opened me up to a world of opportunity. I find the intersection between medicine and technology fascinating, and would love to bring that passion to others through this position!

I aim to open up opportunities to students in imperial and show students how they can diversify their career through this field! I have previously been on other committees as president, conference lead and events officer - so I am familiar with planning and delivering events. I hope to bring in more career focussed events on getting into med tech and speaker talks from start-up owners!
