Acute Care Specialities : General Executive
Having been on placement on acute medicine at Chelsea and Westminster, I have seen how interesting acute medicine can be and the potential it has to grow into a great society. As general executive, I want to spark the same interest in students and make this society even bigger.
Having been on the subcommittee for other societies at Imperial and head of my school council, I have all the skills needed to flourish in this role like communication and teamwork which was honed during my time as chair of school council as I had to interact and involve all the students at my school.
My manifesto revolved around 2 main principles:
- Professional development – In general, people tend to not have a full understanding of what acute med involves so through interactive workshops and speed networking sessions, I want to provide valuable guidance to help our members thrive. Furthermore, facilitating mentorship programs for students to gain opportunities within the acute med field.
- Collaboration – I will establish strong relationships with other societies and academic institutions to amplify our impact and reach and propel this society towards greater success.
In conclusion, I am fully committed to serving as general executive and will work tirelessly to make this society excel.
