Carolina Moura Bento

Hi! My name is Carolina, I am a Medical Biosciences student and I am very passionate about clinical genetics and genetic research.

I am applying for the role of Publicity Officer as I consider myself a good candidate and I would be able to sucessfully promote the society's events and activities, encouraging student engagement and divulgation of the society!

I have previously taken up similar roles and I was responsible for publiciting my cohort's activities and events in my high school and other student groups. We organised several fundraising and social events, and I took part in their publicity and promotion. This lead me to produce social media content and organise some publicity partnerships, colaborations and shot-outs.

Therefore, I consider that not only my skills but also my enthusiasm would enable me to have a positive impact on the society. I would love to have the opportunity to actively engage with this committee and take on this new challenge.
