Joshini Jeyaprakash
Hi my name is Joshini, a second year medic who would cherish the opportunity to be your Play team chair!
I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Paediatrics Play Team this year. Volunteering on the wards and A&E was a very fulfilling experience and my enthusiasm for the Play Team has sparked a desire to take on a management role, where I can contribute to the team's growth and impact. With previous experience in coordinating and organising various projects and major events, I am well-equipped to lead the team in planning and executing our initiatives effectively.
My background in teaching has provided me with valuable skills in communication, organisation, and leadership, which I believe are essential for running successful training days for our volunteers. I am confident in my ability to develop engaging and informative training sessions that will empower our volunteers to make the most out of their experience.
Furthermore, I am passionate about working in a team environment with a variety of members on committee to achieve a common goal of engaging children and bring a ray of brightness during their visit or stay at hospital.
In summary, my passion for play team, coupled with my experience in leadership, teamwork, and education, makes me well-suited to take on a management role. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to promoting volunteering within the Paediatric ward!
