Le Quynh Mai Nguyen
What is a society without its the events? As a candidate for the Head of Events and Sponsorships, I would like to create memorable experiences and support meaningful connections by planning and hosting professionally executed events.
We have one main common interest: building up our career effectively, thus I pledge to map out a plan (regarding to business) for the term’s events in advance. I will ensure a balanced mix of social, academic, and professional gatherings that cater our diverse interests and needs. By inviting speakers who are not only leaders in their fields, but also passionate about sharing knowledge, we can experience diverse perspectives first handedly. To foster a sustainable partnership that supports our ambitious event lineup, I will maintain a communication with our sponsors, by informing them regularly.
Understanding the backbone of successful events lies in the details, I commit to handling logistical aspects, from timely room bookings to the meticulous management of event proposals and the submission of annual room bookings. This operational diligence will ensure our events not only occur but thrive in well-suited environments.
As I believe in effective communication, I will seek for feedback from the members for further improvement. By active collaboration between me and the society members, I promise that events will align with our collective interests while bringing new ideas. This will hopefully make our events outstanding, memorable and will inspire many women at Imperial.
