Xitian Zhao
Women in Business: Internal/Alumni Manager
Manifesto for the Internal/Alumni Manager:
I am Xitian, a student studying Mathematics with Statistics who is very passionate about business. With a passion for giving back to our society, an opinion on the potential improvements for the current society, as well as a particular interest in internal/alumni relationship management, I was motivated to run for this role.
If I were given this precious opportunity, guided by this manifesto, I commit to championing the following principles:
- Collaboration and Communication: I will work closely with all departments to ensure alignment and coordination. I would develop and coordinate programs and events to improve internal/alumni relations by working with other teams. I would also create and update the database of Imperial Alumni and work with Events and Treasurer closely when inviting notable speakers.
- Networking and Outreach: I would take a lead role in networking and outreach efforts, both internally and externally. I would reach out actively to our alumni network to create opportunities for our society's members. I would also make an effort to represent the society and promote its brand.
- Strategic Vision: I will lead with a clear strategic vision and continually seek opportunities for innovation and improvement to enhance our impact. For instance, I would increase the coverage of our panel events (which include investment banking, equity research and consulting now) by reaching out to alumni in other business areas like asset management.
Please do vote for me, and let us embark on a journey of connection, collaboration, and growth!
