Marianna Ashiotou

Hello everyone! I'm Marianna, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student and I'm very excited to contribute to the Internal/Alumni Manager position in our Women in Business society. My experiences in consulting and risk management, including internships at Deloitte and PwC, have equipped me with a keen understanding of strategic planning, effective communication and the importance of strong networks. I am confident these skills will enable me to make a significant impact, enhancing our alumni connections and building a supportive community within our society.

My vision for the Women in Business society is a place where every member feels connected. I plan to create more opportunities for mentorship, professional skill workshops and networking by bringing in alumni who can share their insights and experiences. This approach will not only enrich our learning but also provide us with guidance and direction for our future aspirations.

Using my strengths in strategic planning and team leadership, I plan to develop a series of events and initiatives tailored to our diverse interests and career aspirations. By reaching out to alumni through various platforms, I will ensure we have a wide range of voices contributing to our society.

Stepping into this role, I am excited to promote engagement and support within the Women in Business society. My goal is to create a more interconnected community that supports and guides women exploring various sectors in finance.
