Hi everyone!

I'm running for the role of Publicity Officer because I want to ensure our events get promoted to the community after the committee has worked hard to organize them.

During my time as the Wellbeing Events Officer, I've had the opportunity to collaborate closely with committee members and have written several event descriptions for events I was running. This experience has given me insight into the importance of engaging publicity. I have also enjoyed working with other committee members to organise events for our student community and I would love to keep contributing as Publicity Officer.

As the Secretary for IQ, I've honed my skills in graphics design and used tools like Mailchimp to reach our audience effectively. Moreover, working part-time jobs and internships in the multi-media industry have equipped me with proficiency in Canva, a crucial skill for creating eye-catching posters and materials.

I believe my past experience on the Bioeng Society Committee and my work experience has equipped me for the skills I need for this role. Thank you for reading my manifesto and hope I have your vote!
