Trisha Bagri
My name is Trisha Bagri, and I am running for the position of Vice-President in the Pharmacology Society. With a deep passion for pharmacology and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative community, I aim to leverage my skills and experiences to contribute significantly to our society's growth and success.
My aim as the vice president would be to enhance the academic and professional opportunities, promoting a vibrant culture of learning, networking, and innovation within this field.
As the vice president, I aim to:
1. Expand Professional Networks: Strengthen connections with alumni and professionals in the pharmacology field to facilitate mentorship opportunities, internships, and career guidance for our members.
2. Enhance Academic Support: Develop a series of workshops and guest lectures that cater to the diverse interests of our members, ranging from drug discovery to pharmacotherapeutics.
3. Promote Research and Innovation: Encourage and support members in conducting research projects, participating in competitions, and publishing their findings.
4. Plan field trips and interactive activities: I would actively plan field trips to explore and get opportunities to observe the pharmaceutical industry.
In the past, I have been part of my high school's student council and led numerous projects. These have helped me grow and develop leadership skills, team-working strategies and organizational skills which have well-prepared me for this role. I am excited about the possibility of serving as your Vice-President and pledge to dedicate my efforts to the betterment of our society and I hope you all vote for me!
