Hi All!
My name is Duru, a second-year biochemistry student with a year in management. I am passionate about VC, PE, and global markets.
As the VP of Global Markets, I will:
- Send update summaries on the news twice a week.
- Create a shared document on company strategies with a focus on the markets they are in.
- Increase the presence of the Finance Society among other related societies.
- Create events of discussions, panels, and keynotes from alumni, sponsors, and many others to widen your perspective and allow for networking.
- Generate a 6-weekend (1.5 hour long lessons) course on global and emerging markets (with a certificate) to assure all feel safe and welcome to learn about global markets, while providing a rigid basis to showcase your interest on your CV.
- Collaborate closely with other universities’ societies for networking and discussion panels, with a focus on economics and finance.
Why me?
- member of Dartmouth Women in Finance Network
- Been to more than a dozen conferences allowing me to form a diverse network of people and learn about many areas of finance
- Have an extended past of committee roles ranging from Treasurer to Social Events Officer to helping establish two new societies. I am committed to my roles and will provide the best work needed.
- Secured 2 spring insights with a summer internship lined up. I am happy to always help people out, provide guidance, and share my knowledge.
