Anushka Prakash

Hello! I’m Anushka and I’m a third year medic.

Neuroscience has been a field that has always interested me, and this passion has only been reinforced by the various conferences I have attended.

I would love to be the volunteer coordinator this year and feel that my past experience would enable me to justice to the role.

Having been sponsorship officer for paediatrics society, I managed to get numerous sponsors for the conference, as well as work closely with the conference chair, so have experience in planning and organisation which I would be able to bring forward as volunteer coordinator.

In addition to this, I have experience as events officer for HSOC, so have planned many large scale events including inter-uni events, which would be useful organisationally for this role. I have also been the imperial representative of student medaid, which is an inter-university platform based on global health, so have experience in widespread collaboration, as well as overcoming the challenges that come with this coordination.
